My Toshiba adapter burned out after only one year of use. When I ordered this unit I was a little upset that it was going to take 10 days to ship to me. I hadn't noticed that my old adapter had gone dead and my laptop battery was completely dead. But my order came 3 days earlier than the given delivery time and was exactly what was described in the advertisement. I was a little apprehensive after reading some of the horror stories on other items but this unit is well built and worked exactly as it should work. And the price is definately better than the $90 Toshiba wants to charge for their replacement adapter.
