I own a Toshiba Satellite A105 series notebook since 3 years and I had been having problems with my adapter all the time. I had warranty on my laptop, so I replaced my adapter free of cost and it worked fine for a few months. Then my warranty period was over and my adapter stopped working again.I seriously did not want to buy a 100$ adapter that could be used only for few months. So I decided to buy a cheaper one ( not HQRP..that's yet to come!) and it had 1 year warranty. Unfortunately even that adapter stopped working and I started believing that I do not know how to use a charger. I could return the charger and get a replacement , so I did that and it took about 10 days for the new adapter to be back.So, In the meantime, I bought a HQRP laptop adapter and trust me..... I forgot about the other charger all together. I got the return, but I never used it. I am still using the HQRP adapter and it works just fine!.. does not get heated up like my other chargers and has a light Display on the adapter ( even the Toshiba one doesn't). I loved this product, I suggest this to everyone who have had adapter problems like me!!

I've had 2 of these. The first lasted 3 years, the second 1 year. What happens is the plug that fits into the camera not well made and falls apart if the cord gets jerked or pulled sideways. The outer part comes off, leaving 2 wires sticking out. You can stick it back together but eventually it stops working altogether. I'm trying another brand this time but they're probably all like that.
