When apple wanted to charge me $60-$80 for a new macbook pro charger i knew that i had to find a better price elsewhere, i looked on amazon and found a bunch of third party chargers that looked like the original one but without the apple moniker, then i read the reviews and firmly believed that if i bought one of those chargers, i would probably burn my apartment down. So i instead found this one, and it works great. It is very light and portable, but doesn't look quite as fancy as apple's, but this one seems to charge my computer faster while staying cooler.

the cord is like about a foot or a foot and a half shorter than the regular mac adapter+extension combo. <----an important FYI!
This charger's build quality is amazing though.
