When my OEM charger fell apart, I went to my local "Depot" for a generic. Some adapters were selling on a retail level in excess of the residual value of the very laptop I was trying to power. Ridiculous. Of course I went online, which led me to this charger. Less shipping, It was priced at nearly the state tax on the aforementioned, high priced local replacement. In any case the generic 90W arrived in a few days and is providing the power that I am using to write this review. Simple and cheap. How do you top that? Guess the big box stores have hefty overhead. Nevertheless, if they cant' figure out a way to compete with a more reasonable scale of pricing, they'll end up in the same useless pile with my now defunct OEM power adapter.
