just plugged in this charger from seller battpit. it really does charge. my power-jack on Toshiba L655 is loose, need to get that fix but I also needed a new charger as well since the part that goes into the power-jack is messed up. This one really does work. surprised, because I thought I would need to buy an expensive charger. for the price about 20 bucks should do the trick. we'll see how long this lasts. Also I switched the power cord from battpit because it is short (the end that plugs into an outlet and the battery) with the one from my original Toshiba charger. That original part isn't messed up and is a bit longer and able for me to set my laptop at further distances away from power source.
