This adapter charges my laptop but I also notice that when it's charging, my touchpad doesn't function properly. As soon as I remove the charger, the touchpad goes back to normal. One technical error I've noticed is that the input is advertised as 100-240v ~ 1.5A but the one I received is 100-240v ~ 1.8A. I've read online that this shouldn't make a huge difference but as a consumer, it's a notable piece of information. Please also note that the adapter I received has a 45 degree input as opposed to the advertised picture and that it measures 85 inches end to end as opposed to the original adapter which measures 145 inches end to end.
