I had to order this cord with the final few minutes of my computer battery I had left. I also am a poor college student. That being said, I was looking for the cheapest cord I could express to my house to continue doing my classwork. If you only need something to sort of work for about a month, it's great.

When I first got the cord, it was already having some issues. Near the plugin for the computer, it wouldn't always connect quite right, so I had to wiggle it around a little bit. Once I found that sweet spot though it was great, and I had sort of expected something to be a little bit wrong with it. However now, almost exactly a month after I got this, it only manages to keep what little battery my computer has at the same level and you can't even breathe on the cord in panic that it might disconnect, which would shut off the entire device.

That all being said, this works great for a panic cord in crisis. If you're looking for something more long term than a month however, you might want to put in a little extra money.
