I ordered this item under the impression, both from the photo and seller comments, that I was ordering a real Dell AC adaptor. If I wanted a knock off product there were plenty of sellers selling knock-offs more cheaply I could have ordered from.

When I received the item it was obviously NOT a real Dell item. Not only is there no Dell logo anywhere on the item, the body style and plug are completley differnt from the real Dell adaptor. I e-mailed the seller and told them about the issue and this is what I received:

"I can assure you that you have a genuine Dell adapter.Is there and issue which makes you think otherwise. I would not be with a company that did not sell the real thing. I am and everyday working guy. A buck is a buck.If you are convinced and would still like to returtn it. Please ship it back to:Portacell-usa 41 University Dr. Newtown Pa.18940 suite 400.Please alsoinclude this RMA# on your return paperwork.AZRMA592. It is the real deal. It just doesnt have the higher price and the pretty little box.If you have any questions or if there is anythging more I can do for you dont hesitate to ask. Thank you."

I e-mailed them back and said I would love to take a picture and show them just how wrong they are and said that it doesn't even have a Dell logo on it and the body style is completley different. I also said I will be requiring my refund BEFORE shipping back the item since the company obviosuly feels it's okay to lie to customers about their product, why shoudl I trust them to actually send me a refund? This is what I received the second time:

"The labels are covered during shipping so that they are not damaged. The stickers were probably not removed when your Dell adapter was being preped for you.If you go to the top of the black label you will see a sticker that reads "AC ADAPTER" peel that away. and the round sticker on the other side peel that away. The Dell logos are there. I cannot issue you a refund for the item and for return shipping costs without the item back. When you have a return locally, Do you go get your money back first and then bring the item back?I know I dont.I will await your Genuine Dell adapter's return. And then I will issue your refund. Thank you."

These people must feel that their clients are stupid and have no sense. They certainly do not have the "please the customer first" attitude.

I sincerely warn you against buying from this seller. I have had to file a claim and am now waiting for Amazon to step in.
