I bought this for my Asus 1201N netbook. The original Asus cable would no longer work as the end lost a its small plastic tip.

This cable is nicely built. The prong is only two prong, but it does not get too hot, where you might worry about a fire.
The wire gauge is bigger than the OEM cable it replaced so it should be more durable.

The only complaint I really have is that the cable is not very long, and when I tripped on it once the end bent a small amount, but it still works.

I would buy it again as a replacement.

Today the charger got very hot and died. The light on the unit will not even come on now.
So I am knocking it down from the 4 stars before down to two stars, as it only lasted over a year (1 year and 3 months).

I did like the unit and how the connector was an L type and the cord seemed thick, but I am guessing since it did not have a third grounding plug it died do to an over charge inside itself, and with no way to discharge it just fried itself and died. Sad as I did like it while it was working.

I found my old OEM Asus cable and that seems to be working for now.
