My original Sony power adapter went missing. After checking several options including buying an original from Sony for a ridiculous amount, I found this product and I am very happy with it. It works great, is much more compact and lighter. Best of all, the price was right, and it was shipped fast. This item, including S&H, cost $21.98, the original replacement from Sony would have been $139. So yes, I'm happy. It works and now I can transfer my old tapes to DVD, that's all I needed it for.
