The charger works just as well as the OEM ac adapter I had that broke, and having the 90% plug to the laptop is a nice touch. You certainly can't beat the price as this cost only a fraction of what the OEM or other generic replacement ac adapters would have cost. The only negative is that it does get a little hot so to be safe I make sure it is unplugged when I am not using my laptop.
