I hadn't realized it was not OEM (Original Equipment Manufacture) - an oversight on my part, since the phrase "for such and such" and "replacement part" are right there in black and white. But I have no complaints - the part works just fine, it seems solid, and I am quite pleased with it.

I am not entirely sure how to see what Gateway model my laptop is, but so far, this part works just as well as the ADP-65HB that came with the computer. One noticeable difference: Cord length is approx 20" shorter on each end (for a total of ~40" shorter).

Difference in cord length:
-Adapter to wall: This product is ~47" instead of ~69", and the cord is round instead of flat (no idea if that makes any difference in function).
-Adapter to Computer: This product is ~44" instead of ~68", endpoint at computer is slightly different shape, with yellow tip instead of black.
