Needed a replacement power adapter for my aging Hp laptop but the one from Hp was pricey (over $50 as I recall). I found this one on Amazon for under $10, so I gave it a try. Worked as advertised, but the unit creates a fair amount of power line noise similar to that of a lighting dimmer. Probably not an issue for most people, but I live 60 miles from NYC and like to listen to AM radio in the morning. Having this unit plugged in and charging the computers battery, creates enough RF noise to block most am radio reception in the same room.
