This thing looks almost identical to the real thing, no joke! It's charging my laptop as we speak and it works as advertised. After rewiring my official adaptor 3 times now, the cord is now 1' long, I said to hell with it and ordered this guy.

As stated in other reviews, the charge light is a bit wonky. It will stay on even after disconnection. But you know what, for 1/5th the price of the official adaptor I could give a hoot less. Whatever color it wants to be, that's fine by me. So far it's charged my laptop perfectly without a single hiccup. The only thing mildly annoying is that the cord is rather stiff and while it looks like the real thing it's not even close to the same flexibility. Again, I can gladly overlook this for the extra money in my pocket.

Seriously, don't even think about shelling out the money for the official adaptor, it's extortion. Even if this thing blows up in 6 months it will still have been worth the money. If your old adaptor has gone bye bye, this is far and away the way to go!

UPDATE: This device apparently went from twenty to more than fifty dollars. At that price this is highway robbery! I could justify this at the lower price but now it's absurd. I also want to say that this thing more or less fell apart after a few months of use. It still works just fine and if it lasts me a year it will have been well worth it, but again this kind of price increase is unjustified. Good luck finding a good replacement!
