Standard power supply on my laptop started to fray at the DC cable connector on the brick, so I got this one to replace it.

Handles my laptop with a 650M graphics card, i7-3740QM processor, and 16GB RAM at load with no sweat and no excessive heat. Gaming or rendering, it never undervolts my card. Gaming laptop owners should really consider this thing.

Tip it came with is a bit tight, but it's getting better. Looks good, solidly made. DC cable has a velcro tie integrated on it, which is convenient, and a small pouch to carry it in, which further prevents tangles.

If you don't like flat AC cables, you can replace this one; it uses a cloverleaf ("Mickey Mouse") connector on the brick. Dual voltage is nice: replace the AC cable with an appropriately pronged one for foreign travels.

The USB output is strong enough to charge my Samsung Galaxy Tab without getting the "Red X issue" (low amperage). Convenient if you want to charge your devices without making a wall octopus or trying to maximize the amount of bricks on a set of outlets.
